Research and Planning: Music Magazine Draft Contents
Content page
TitleAs with the front cover I have gone for rockster size 60 as the font for the title yet again I find it suitable for the genre of music and is the house style of my magazine for titles.
Sub-titles
The sub-title again is Sunday Script font size around 20 underlined as well the artical text will be Sunday script around size 12-18.
There are two things I will add extra to fill the page and make it more suitable to my target audience. The charts for the week/month and latest news.
photo's
I think the red 3mm border separating the photo's from the text works really well. with the pictures there will be a range of sizes and in the bottom left corner the page number.
overall
from looking at the contents page I think there's no particular genre to the page apart from the title font but with pictures added you would defiantly see its a rock magazine.
Research and Planning:Music Magazine Draft Cover
Title
CLASSIC the font I used its rockerster because on the questionnaire it came equally first when asked, the size of the font 72 which makes it stand out and bold. I am still not sure of the colour chosen because I had gold as a second choice, I will investigate which is better on Photoshop or Illustrator
Cover Story
With the cover story I decided to use Sunday Script size 48 because of the readability and is slightly similar to the Masthead font. I find its a balance of being formal and being able to read it with the slight quirky spin on it. In terms of audience feed back I didn't ask the question.
Photo
The shot type I have chosen is a medium close up where it from the shoulders upwards, I asked this question on both the interview and questionnaire, with similar results.
Overall
The overall appearance I think works well but might be slightly too dark. When reading the Questionnaire answers, Male was the gender of choice I think i for filed it by having Jimi Hendrix as the cover photo and stereotypical boy bands logo's on the front as well( all these are examples I might not use of final magazine )The recommended price was £4.50 because it will be a monthly issue as you can see I forgot to place it on the design it would ether be placed in the bottom right corner or top right corner. The color scheme works well and associates with the dark rock image, but using a bright red I think makes it stand out and more modern audience.

Research and Planning:Music magazine Interviews
Here are the three interviews I conducted to help with final magazine draft
from these video's I found out that the target audience would like on the front cover more cover lines added, a medium close up of the artist/model and to make the image larger
for the content page I need to add more colour and information to the articles
for the double page spreed there was a mix between a long shot or a wide shot of them on stage for the main image and the idea of putting images inside the text was positive
